Use case

Customers join the queue by scanning a QR code

No ticket printer, no app download. A printed poster or tablet kiosk is enough—visitors take a Ticket on the phone they already carry.

Most walk-in desks still ask people to stand in a physical line or take a paper ticket. That works until the lobby fills up, someone loses their stub, or the printer jams on a busy morning.

With Esperaly, each Service you offer gets a join link. Print it as a QR code at the entrance, reception desk, or waiting area. Visitors scan, pick a Service if you have more than one, and receive a live Ticket in the browser.

You can start with a sheet of paper. Add a tablet kiosk later if you want a larger on-site join screen—still no proprietary pedestal required.

How it works

  • Put a QR where people arrive

Print a poster for the door, desk, or wall. Or open the join page on a spare tablet in a stand. Same Ticket flow either way.

  • Visitor scans and joins

They choose a Service (if you offer more than one), confirm any details you ask for, and keep the Ticket open on their phone.

  • Staff call from a Counter

The next Ticket appears on the Counter screen. Call, serve, or transfer—no paper stub to shout across the room.

Problems this solves

  • Paper ticket printers fail, jam, or cost more than the software itself
  • Visitors crowd the desk asking “how long?” because they have no status
  • Staff spend time managing the line instead of serving people
  • You do not want another proprietary kiosk locked to one vendor

Who it’s for

  • Clinics and practices replacing a ticket printer
  • Council and campus desks with a shared entrance QR
  • Salons and retail counters that want walk-ins without a dedicated host stand

What changes day to day

  • Start without hardware spend

A printed QR is enough for day one. Phones your customers already own become the Tickets.

  • Clearer lobby behaviour

People can sit or step outside while they wait—still with a live Ticket—so the desk stays calmer.

  • Fits multi-Service desks

One poster can offer several Services; visitors pick the right queue before they reach a Counter.
